WHAT GENRES DO YOU SPECIALIZE IN?
  • Book Publicity Services does not specialize in particular genres of books. We have successfully promoted both fiction and nonfiction books, including children’s, mystery, erotica, business, religious, young adult, middle grade, self-help, parenting, relationships, health/wellness, memoirs, thrillers, historical, romance, paranormal, food, lifestyle, and more.
WHAT TYPES OF SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
  • Book Reviews: Over the years, we have compiled an extensive database of book blogs and developed strong relationships with reviewers. It includes reviewers for every genre (personal finance, mystery, new-adult, erotica, paranormal, fantasy, self-help, children’s, romance, religion, thriller, historical, crime, etc). We will pitch your book to a variety of book reviewers to coordinate reviews.
  • We also use NetGalley as an additional way of generating reviews for our client’s books. NetGalley is an innovative platform that takes your ebook and makes it available to NetGalley subscribers for download and review. NetGalley provides access to a large community, with currently over 175,000 members, including reviewers, media, librarians, bloggers, teachers, and booksellers. We have an account and can upload your book as well as pertinent info, so that reviewers can download your ebook and review it. Book Publicity Services will set up your page and respond to all incoming review requests.
  • Our goal is to secure as many reviews as possible for your book on Amazon, Goodreads, and other sites.
  • Media Exposure: Our goal is to secure as much media attention as possible to create awareness of your book and build your brand. To get media coverage, we will pitch your book to print (newspapers & magazines), broadcast (TV & radio), and online (websites & blogs) media outlets. We will coordinate book reviews, feature articles, interviews, giveaways, and other types of placements to promote your book.
  • We have an extensive database with thousands of contacts, from editors to bloggers, in a broad range of subject areas, including: art, entertainment, business, finance, education, fashion, beauty, food, politics, health, real estate, religion, sexuality, self-help, family, science, sports, technology, travel, and more. From small blogs to the most powerful news outlets like USA Today, Huffington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and CNN, we have strong media relationships at all types of media outlets.
  • We will pitch you to the media outlets that are the best fit to reach your target audience. You will be notified of all contacts that express interest in your book, and we will coordinate all press placements. Keep in mind that you need to be willing to do interviews (whether online, in-person, or over the phone) and send out review copies in order to get media exposure.
  • Press Release Writing & Distribution: We will write and distribute search engine optimized press releases to promote your book. For maximum exposure, we will distribute the press release to search engines (Google, Yahoo!, Bing, etc.), all major online news sites nationwide (Yahoo! News, ABC News, Star Tribune, Newsday, CNN, etc), and post it on top press release distribution sites (PRNewswire.com, SBWire, 24-7PressRelease, OnlinePRNews, etc).
  • The goal of distributing a press release is to have as many sites as possible post it. Typically, our press releases get posted on 100+ top news sites. This helps to build your online presence and get the word out about your book online. Press releases also help increase traffic to your website and improve your ranking in search engines.
  • Social Media: We will promote your book on social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, and other similar sites to increase your online presence and get the word out about your book. This will involve regularly updating content, posting press placements, and interacting with reviewers, media contacts, and potential readers.
  • Speaking Engagements: If you live in the US, we will contact your local bookstores, libraries, book fairs, schools, churches, and/or book clubs, etc for potential speaking engagements or book signings. We will pitch you to the organizations that are the best fit to reach your target audience.
  • A standard public relations campaign with Book Publicity Services lasts 6 months. This allows enough time to pitch all appropriate media and follow up. You can continue your PR campaign for as long as you’d like, and you can cancel your PR campaign at any time.
WHAT MEDIA OUTLETS AND CONTACTS DO YOU WORK WITH TO COORDINATE BOOK REVIEWS , INTERVIEW,  AND OTHER TYPES OF PRESS PLACEMENT?
  • At Book Publicity Services we will get the media attention you need to increase awareness and sell more books. Media coverage includes radio interviews, articles in newspapers and magazines, television interviews, guest blog posts, book reviews and interviews on websites, and other press placements. We have an extensive database with thousands of contacts, from editors to bloggers, at all types of media outlets in a broad range of subject areas, including: art, entertainment, business, finance, education, fashion, beauty, food, politics, health, real estate, religion, sexuality, self-help, family, science, sports, technology, travel, and more. We have relationships with the most powerful news outlets like USA Today, Huffington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and CNN, as well as bloggers and local newspapers nationwide. WHAT ARE SOME PLACEMENTS THAT YOU HAVE SEQURED FOR CLIENT?
WHO MAILS OUT MY BOOK TO REVIEWERS?
  • We will let you know who has requested a copy of your book to review, what format (ebook or paperback) they would like to review, and where to send the book (email address or mailing address). It is your responsibility to send out the review copies in a timely manner.
HOW MUCH DOES A PR CAMPAIGN COST?
  • Fill out the Get Started form and a publicist at Book Publicity Services will contact you within 24 hours to discuss our rates and your PR campaign.
HOW ARE PAYMENTS MADE?
  • Payments are made quarterly through PayPal. At the end of each quarter you will receive a report from your publicist listing all of the pending and completed press placements for your book, an update on current PR efforts, and an invoice through PayPal for the next 3 months of your PR campaign.
WHEN SHOULD I START MY PR CAMPAIGN?
  • If you have not released your book yet, we recommend starting your PR campaign 2-4 weeks before the book is published. If your book is already published, we recommend getting your PR campaign started as soon as possible.

HOW LONG DOES A PR CAMPAIGN LAST?
